Non-Attachment and Full Involvement

Non-Attachment is witnessing from a certain distance. Understanding what we are and what we are not.

Full Involvement is spending our full attention on something, giving it all to the action, pouring ourselves into it.

It's counterintuitive that you can do both at the same time. One thinks that in order to be fully involved, one has to be (or will be) attached to the subject.

How to achieve this? Where does one begin?
